Mission Statement

 

Habakkuk 2:2-3

 

2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

 

The vision and mission statement for Chestnut Ridge is simple:  to win and save souls to Christ; to minister to those persons who seek a closer relationship with the Lord, and to guide the people on the straight path to God.  Our church believes in the power of the Holy Spirit; therefore, the true and living gospel is preached weekly by a man who is led by God.  

 

Our church motto is "No Games, No Gimmicks, Just Jesus" (Acts 4:12).  We are in constant prayer that people are healed, saved, and delivered by the powerful word of God. Most importantly, we want to see God manifest himself so the lives of the righteous will be forever changed.
